SPORT
Anouk Vergé-Dépré is a Swiss professional beach volleyball player who has successfully blended multiple passions while building an impressive athletic career.
Born on February 11, 1992, in Bern, Anouk was raised in a multicultural family, fluent in both German and French. Her father hails from Guadeloupe, a French Caribbean island, while her mother’s roots lie in the Swiss mountains. Anouk’s journey into sports began at an early age, starting as a ball girl while watching her parents play. Today, she is one of the top players in beach volleyball, with a career-high world ranking of #4.
« Being in the sand and competing playfully with friends always let me forget what was around me and gave me confidence and a safe space. »
Anouk had her breakthrough when she won her first gold medal on the highest international level in 2019. She became European Champion in 2020 and wrote Swiss history together with Joana Mäder when they won bronze at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. They were the first Swiss and only the second European team to win an Olympic medal in women's beach volleyball.

Road to Adelaide 2025
Beach Partner ZOÉ VERGÉ-DÉPRÉ
After being rivals for the Paris 2024 Olympic cycle the sisters decided to team up for the Olympic cycle leading up to Los Angeles 2028 and take their fans on a sister's journey. The highlights of the season 2025 are the Beach Pro Elite tournament in Gstaad, the European Championship in Düsseldorf and the World Championships in Adelaide.
Zoé Vergé-Dépré made her debut on the Beach Pro Tour with Esmée Böbner in 2017. The duo was one of the fastest climbing teams on the world stage peaking right on time to make their first Olympic appearance in Paris 2024, where the team finished on an outstanding 5th place. Winning bronze at the European Championships just two weeks later highlights the recent development of Switzerland's most improved player of 2024.
